After nearly a decade of working for the man on Wall Street, I gave him the carpal tunnel finger and moved out to Aspen to become a ski bum for a season. OK, so I wasn't quite roughing it by eating sushi in the mountains but i did operate a snow cat once.
About a year ago I started a renewable energy company which is now my passion. Running a start-up hasn't been easy but its certainly been rewarding in many ways. I get to work with fantastic dedicated people everyday (I hired them so they better be) and I'm really proud of what we do.
If I'm not charging the mountains, I'm usually practicing the guitar which I've been playing for over 20 years now or experimenting on a new recipe in the kitchen (last dish was a salt broiled spanish mackerel with heirloom tomatoes and hijiki). You might also find me riding my motorcycle in the Catskills or drinking a $12 bud light at Yankee Stadium in the summer months.
I'm also a sucker for good oysters and dirty martinis.
