August 12 my account will expire.
I'm not really sure I want to be on here but after several recommendations I'll give it a try for 3 months. The one lesson I have learned so far is not to get your hopes up too high; otherwise the crash back to reality can be painful!
This is the hard part. I would prefer you talk to me, rather than read about me, in order for you to get to know me. I have been told by many that I am not a person of many words (not a big talker)... I tend to be direct and to the point ( in other words, I don't add a lot of fluff lol).
I am writing this in the middle of the night. Why? Because my baby, Mocha my 65 pound Golden Retriever mix, decided she couldn't find the perfect spot to sleep and so she decided to walk around on the bed. So I am awake and have been thinking about what to write here.
I tend to be more of a casual person - I prefer jeans/shorts/capris/sneakers over "dressing up" in a dress/high heels/sandals ( doesn't mean i can't or won't dress up, its just not what i prefer). I prefer comfort over fashion...which is not to say that I ever look sloppy as I do take pride in my appearance.
I am not a "let's go out every night of the week" person. A couple nights at most is good, but I also enjoy my down time at home after work, reading, watching tv or whatever.
I enjoy being outside. During the summer I love to sit out on my back deck and going for walks with Mocha. I love going to Reds and Bengals games (I am a Steelers fan first and foremost but then a football fan). Kings Island rocks! I love to go to parks, festivals, outdoor concerts. My favorite vacations are to the beach. I enjoy the mountains but can't say I have ever vacationed there ( can you believe I have never been to Gatlinburg??)
I can't pick a favorite season...they all have qualities that I love. For instance, I love the snow but not the cold. I love being outside but don't love the heat. Probably my ideal would be 60 and snow! Lol
Other interests of mine: reading, movies, music, i habe been getting into wine tasting, local bars ( the type you can sit and talk or throw darts or play pool although it seems like forever since i last went to one)...
So many interests to name so just ask me. Even if something is not a current interest, I am always willing to try it. Some recent interests I picked up are: rappelling, rock climbing, shooting and motorcycle riding.
Family is important to me. I love my family and enjoy spending time with them whenever I can (which is not easy to do since, most of them live in Pittsburgh which is where I am originally from). My niece and nephews are the best!
