I'm new at this, but giving it a try. Recently divorced, looking for friendship and companionship. And lots of laughter. I'm not here looking for the love of my life as I'm quite aware that takes time, effort, chemistry and love between two individuals. Let's be friends FIRST.
Anyway, I'm interested in fun, passionate, funny individuals who will make me laugh and pretty much not bore me to death. I look Asian, but I have that feisty Latino in me. I'm Chinese Peruvian and my first language is Spanish. I'm not going to sugarcoat myself because I'm pretty straight forward and expect the same in return. I like to stay and look healthy and expect the same from the other person. I love the beach, the bookstore, coffee shops and dining out. I'll take a steak and fries over a salad anytime. I want to hang out, drink, pig out and pretty much act stupid and laugh about it. I don't want to date anyone stuck in their "college" years, so if you are into tailgating, football, basketball and your life pretty much revolves around sports, then you and I can't be friends. Sports are OK, but they can't be your main focus in life. The same goes for partying like crazy. I like a nice, decent party where we can talk, dance and have a good time. But if I have to babysit you, then again, no thank you, I'm not your mother. Know your priorities and then maybe we'll click.
Proper grammar and humility are more important to me than what you have, what you drive, how big your muscles are and how amazingly different you are from the rest. Something I don't understand is anyone who I haven't met yet calling me "honey," "lovely," or any term of endearment. It's not cute, it's creepy.
And perhaps age is just a number and what not, but I honestly don't think my "prince charming" is over the age of 50, no offense to all those silver foxes out there...
