I’m looking for someone who shares my enthusiasm about life - who wants to enjoy himself , who can find fun in even the small things, and who is interested in having new experiences. I always try to look on the positive side of life, and I’d like to find someone who can laugh at mistakes and who prefers to look at getting lost as an adventure rather than a waste of time.
My passions are music and volunteering. I love music of all kinds and DC has so many places to hear live performances. I volunteer with an animal rescue group - working with animals in need has taught me a lot about life and about caring for someone else.
DC has so many great things to offer, and I love finding the interesting little places that people sometimes pass by - like the solar system model on the Mall or the little cafe near my office with the great hot chocolate. I've lived here long enough to be considered a local, but I'm still always looking for new things to see and do. This summer I took sailing lessons and I'm looking to get back out on the water next summer - maybe next time I won't fall in!
You can sometimes find me in the theatre, out hiking or biking, or on the Potomac in a kayak. I love going to baseball games even when the Nats lose, and staying out way too late on weeknights to see a great band I've never heard of before. I like taking day trips around DC on the weekends - there are a lot of fun places to go, whether it's the Virginia wineries or eating great seafood in Annapolis.
