So I have a terrible secret to reveal today. I've tried to hide it but after two half-marathons, several 5k races, and buying a Garmin watch I don't think that I can hide it anymore. So I'll admit it, I am a runner. Okay, it's a terrible secret mostly because it's not really a secret. I'm pretty open about my experiences and would love to find a running partner. Especially one that is faster than I am so I can really push myself. Not that you need to be a runner. I also enjoy the usual boating activities like fishing, water skiing, and wake boarding. I'll admit, my experiences with the latter two are generally in the "rope gets yanked out of my hands" than it is the "up on skis enjoying the spray of water in my face". Fortunately, I have pulled many a fish from the ocean so I know that I can succeed at the other two. If you're not into boating, though you really should be as boats are awesome, I'm also getting into hiking. I have the pass to the state parks and everything. My truck also carries plenty of people and beer which I'm told is the necessary ingredients for an awesome hike. When I'm not exhausting myself on the weekends I generally hit the gym, then work, then go home to cook, watch movies, and play computer games. Which is great because I do the last two for work as well. Yep, I'm one of those lucky guys that managed to love something so much that he found a job doing it. Hence why I put so much effort into it. Unfortunately I have yet to find the job that incorporates cooking with those activities so I just experiment in my spare time. I make awesome brownies from scratch and I have the coworkers to prove it. The awesome thing about knowing how to cook is that you get to eat awesome food. Plus it feeds into my love of running. Also, I made a really bad pun right there. Feel free to call me on it. Of course, I also enjoy drinks and dinner with an engaging woman. Technically I also like long walks in the park as well...
