ABOUT ME:
I'm not interested in appealing to everyone and going on multiple dates, so I put together a summary to try and capture a lot of the characteristics that define me. I also tried to select everyday pictures to give a better idea of what I really look like.
Summary:
*Confident - I'm not arrogant, in fact, I'm generally modest (except maybe when writing a profile); however, I'm comfortable in my own skin and walk to my own beat
*Integrity - I try to hold myself to a high moral standard. The most important part of that standard is treating people with respect
*Driven - I set my goals high, and work hard to achieve them. So far, I have a good track record
*Resilient- Can't talk about drive without mentioning this. I've definitely fallen on my face several times, but always pick myself back up and get back on track
*Well Educated - Earned BS-Engineering, MS-Finance, and MBA degrees
*Balanced - I'm serious and focused on things that are important, but have an even keeled to easy easy going personality
*Silly - Life is to short not to enjoy it, I'm not a class clown, but if your around me, you will probably catch me doing something random and/or ridiculous
*Passionate - I tend to be enthusiastic and energetic about the things I'm interested in
*Gentleman - My mom is a Southerner, this was engraved in me from childhood, but I do have a wild side
*Creative - Well, maybe not so creative, because I'm having a hard time coming up with a creative example
*Curious - I'm very curious about the world around me, not just physical, but pretty much everything. In my opinion, this goes hand in hand with creativity
*Part Nerd - I'm proud of this part of me. I was an Engineer who designed lasers, and I pretty sure this is a requirement for that
*Adventurous - I'm usually excited to try something new, especially when there is risk or it takes me out of my comfort zone
*Spontaneous - Love spur of the moment adventures
*Travel - I caught the travel bug recently and want to go visit as many places as possible
*Health Conscious - I actually got off track on this for a while and realized how critical exercise and eating well are to enjoying life
*I don't take many pictures apparently - Realized this when putting my profile together (more photos to come soon)
*I write things in lists with headings - Got used to writing everything in executive summaries I guess
WHO I'M LOOKING FOR:
Perhaps I'm unique, but I'm trying to find someone who is lazy, boring, and unhappy. I can't seem to find them in the real world, so I figured the internet might be the place to look. Clearly, I'm joking about this, but this is the internet, so I'm not taking a chance of someone thinking I'm serious.
I'm not someone with a specific type. However, the two most important things I look for are honesty, and someone who inspires me. One thing I've come to learn is that it is people's imperfections that you grow to love, but that varies by person. I tend to like the following in people:
*Generally happy and/or enthusiastic - If you don't have one of these, you can't be inspiring
*Creativity
*Intelligent
*Caring
*Funny
*"Girly-girl", but not afraid of the outdoors
*Interested in traveling
