Originally from suburban Philadelphia. In Buffalo for graduate school.......... I like to think I'm well-balanced. I tend towards reserved / observant / low-key, analytical / intellectual, and serious / independent / professional, but I think my family and friends would say I'm also funny, caring, thoughtful, simple, street-smart, and easy-going. I enjoy quality time with others, learning new things, seeing new places, keeping up on chores, casual exercise, and becoming a better Catholic and citizen. I keep a fairly small circle of friends, but I enjoy meeting new people............ When I graduate, I'd like to: expand/improve my cooking skills, prepare a bug-out bag, become more comfortable with firearms, develop a more regular exercise routine, learn CPR-first aid, self-defense, and defensive driving..........Ongoing goals: become a proper aunt to my developing niece/nephew, volunteer, learn more basics about economic philosophies/finance, government, history, theology, and ethics. I've always wanted to geocache, SCUBA dive, play piano, and speak French. I just realized that all of this sounds very ambitious, so I'll add that, "at the end of the day", I most appreciate faith, family, friends, and, yes, "the little things".............. I'm looking forward to graduation and the next stage of my life. I enjoy writing and teaching and would enjoy doing either of those when I graduate, but I especially look forward to more time with family and friends. There are so many things I want to do, see, and learn, but if I were blessed with a family of my own, I would gladly make that a priority. I'm looking for friends first, and I think shared values (faith and politics) are critical. I think it's important to be charitable and give others the benefit of the doubt, but also to defend and live out your values.
