In terms of personality, I'm usually somewhere between being a little kid at Toys R Us and an old college professor. I can get quite excited about the smallest things or be completely satisfied reading a book throughout the night.
I put a lot of attention and energy into my relationships with close friends. I am usually an idealistic, big-picture type of person. I like to consider myself broad-minded. I rarely judge people on any basis and enjoy culturally unique or personally quirky traits in people.
People use the term "friends with benefits" to describe a situation where they want to repeatedly make out with someone they know. I use the term "best friend with benefits" to describe a relationship partner. But instead of "making out" being the benefit, the benefit is a romance based on communication, nurturing, and respect. We are attracted to people for all kinds of reasons. I look at a relationship partner as I would a friend. Their character, values, and trustworthiness are all important traits.
