I'm athletic, spontaneous, and always up for a challenge. I'm looking for someone who is motivated in life, in his career, confident in who he is, can make me laugh, and shares the same interests as me.
I grew up competitively swimming. Medical school made it challenging to find a pool that I could continue to swim in without trampling over others in the lane. So, I picked up running to stay in shape. So far I have run two 1/2 marathons. I had planned on running the Buffalo Marathon this past May, but unfortunately, injured myself right before it. I'm back up to running ~40 miles a week and plan on running a few races next year. I would love to meet someone who also enjoys running, going to the gym, and other outdoor activities.
In the summer, I also enjoy playing softball, kickball, and hanging out in Canada on the beach! In the winter, I hope for snow to go skiing!
Although my career is demanding, I still find time to do the things I love. I enjoy checking out new restaurants, new hot spots in town, going to movies, riding my bike while browsing real estate in the area, watching sports ( yes, i'm a buffalo fan!), etc. I'm also a big traveler, and I am hoping to find time to travel to a few new places in the next year or two.
I have lived in several different countries, and have been lucky to have explored much of Europe. I also spent the last two years in NYC and soaked up as much as the culture as I could; I definitely miss the food & the excitement that the city had to offer. Luckily I still have several friends in the city that I can go back & visit. Much of my family lives in Canada, so I also spend most holidays and much of my summer up there!
