"Never make someone a priority when they just make you an option" Great quote!
Fun, Smart, Conversational, giving and more. Divorce final as of December 5th - from an 16 year marriage but definitely on my path to a new chapter in my life. I am mentally and emotionally ready to move on - rebooting my life, first in Colorado, then Seal Beach, now I'm in El Paso! Originally born and raised in Colorado, so coming back to the mountains is like coming home again.
I'm not looking for a quick sexual relationship. Relationships start out with a foundation of chemistry and friendship - then we'll see what happens after that. I believe in 100% honesty. I expect the same. If the start is based on lies, then the relationship goes nowhere and is doomed to fail. (It's like building a building on bad soil or bad concrete, it's going to fail!!!)
I'm looking for someone who is intelligent, can carry on a conversation, who isn't afraid of questions (how else do you learn about someone else, become friends, save asking?) Someone who likes asking questions back!!! You ask a question, I'll answer it, and I expect the same - pretty simple really. NO head games, BS or trying to be what you aren't. Life is too short for games, unless it's cribbage or backgammon or dominoes kinds of games.
You need to like movies, good books, laughter, a dry sense of humor, and dare to step outside your comfort zone IN a good way of course! I believe the first three kisses don't count. The first two are awkward and you both are wondering if the fit is right, etc. etc. The third kiss is much improved. From there the sky's the limit.
