It's almost fall, my favorite time of year.

In real life, I'm humble, but this is not the place for that.

My ideal first date would be to fly to Costa Rica, because there is no better way to learn about each other than a few hours on a sea plane.
Once we are feel comfortable together, we spend a lovely afternoon learning to surf. The amazing thing about surfing is that you get to flow with one of nature's miracles while the hot sun kisses your shoulders. It feels like flying.
Monkeys will bring us Dos Equis on a little paddle board. They will also take our empties to shore and make sure they are recycled because that's what good monkeys do. Plus, you only have to tip them bananas.
After we have developed out hunger, we satisfy it eating ceviche, fresh caught Spiny Lobsters and mango and some other fruits I've never seen before.
The lobster tastes so rich and decadent, we laugh and everything else just flows naturally.
Or maybe that would be a better 3rd date, our first date will be be coffee or drinks and exploring each others interests. I think you can tell more from talking to a person for 3 minutes than a 100 emails or texts.
I'm interested in the whole person and what that is can't be expressed in words.
I love all types of music, with a bias towards Jazz and singer-songwriters. Jamie Cullum. Adele and Amy Winehouse are some of my favs. I also love Imelda May, Old Crow Medicine Show, the White Stripes, Chopin. Anything with real heart.
If there is real emotion, I'll like it. Unless it's somber, why would I want to feel somber?
I love making music. Ideally, I'd like to meet someone that played or at least was willing to try to learn. Creating music with someone else is truly unique experience that can't be describe in words.
While words are a necessity, I think that actions mean far more.
You have to go with the flow, because life never stops.

I was at a bar the other day and a couple next to me were on an awkward 1st date.
I don't recall everything said because I was hypnotized by his droning on like the teacher from Snoopy,
"What are your favorite bands?" and lots of stuff about his High School football career, apparently he was reading for a part in a horrible B-movie.
When started bragging about his Mustang and the modifications he'd made to it, I lost consciousness.
