I am an independent person but enjoy the comfort and security that a relationship brings to my life. I look at the big picture and do not sweat the small stuff. My last tour overseas in Afghanistan really instilled in me that every day is precious and should be lived like it could be your last. I don't do drugs. I recycle. I try hard to do the right thing. I don’t look or feel 48.
I love getting outside and taking advantage of this amazing place called Southern California. I hit the gym, run 1/2 marathons, hike/camp places like Yosemite and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. I enjoy the beach, kayaking and snorkeling or just snoozing on the sand. I am into biking and just got a new custom racing bike. I like cinema, the theatre, mingling at social events, and good restaurants. I am just as comfortable in a tie and jacket as a good pair of jeans. I love traveling and discovering new places. I enjoy my work with the military, but life outside work has always been more important and is more reflective of who I am. I like to keep things simple and surround myself with happy people who have a positive outlook on life.
