Life is a gift. I'm blessed with a great group of friends here and a great family. I don't have kids of my own, but I absolutely love hanging out with and listening to my little nieces, whom I've trained to call me "AUNTIE" out loud, since people constantly assume they're mine. So, I could say that my life feels pretty complete. Well, I do enjoy the single life, I am pretty independent and have even done some of my own handyman stuff around my home, but I'm now looking for a long-term relationship.
I do enjoy some of the outdoor activities as well, including camping, fishing, and swimming... And travelling. Really, any activity with the right person would make my day. My friends describe me as a fun, funny, Type B personality, down-to-earth, kind and fiercely loyal friend who isn't afraid to laugh at herself (and loudly), but I'm also quite shy in the beginning. My good friends have been around for 15 years or more. I tend to start out trusting and on the naive side...that's always worked for me. . I like to live life to the fullest and live it spontaneously at times and planned out at other times. My favorite night out is a evening spent with friends or family, good food and great conversation. Even better is a dinner party at my place (our place:)) since I love to cook and the grill is always ready. An ideal match for me would be someone who is kind, honest, open-minded, smart and intelligent, funny, silly at times, thoughtful, and is positive. I don't date looks, but put a strong emphasis on personality and character. Since cooking is somewhat a passion of mine, I really appreciate doing it for people who really have a sense of adventure about food and enjoy it!
I like to see my world through rose colored glasses and am looking for someone with the same attitude. Chemistry and Communication are key, the rest will follow...
