Originally from the Midwest, I have spent fifteen years in the northeast attending college and graduate school and working in the design field. In the past couple years my work has taken me back toward my roots and I currently split my time between the Chicago, Cleveland and New York City. For the time being, the arrangement suits me well as I would describe myself as having the values of a Midwesterner and the tastes of a New Yorker.
I come from a large family who enjoys spending time together - particularly in the summers and at holidays. Family values and traditions are very important to me and I hope to find someone who shares those ideals. In addition, I am looking for someone who is loyal, honest, reliable, thoughtful, ambitious and adventurous. Of course, chemistry is key, and a great sense of humor and physical attractiveness are definite pluses!
When at home I enjoy anything relating to food (cooking, eating - in or out, grocery shopping); working around the house and coming up with new projects; planning trips; reading; playing/going for drives with my dog; picnics; exploring new shops; checking out museums; having family and friends for dinner; biking out in the country; and taking long walks in the city. I try to stay in shape mainly with pilates, yoga and gym sessions. When the nicer weather appears, I love biking and hiking and in the winter I enjoy taking a few ski trips.
As with everyone else on this site, I love traveling and try to plan trips whenever possible. I love the beach but I enjoy adventurous or random destinations (whether near or far) even more. Places I hope to see in the future: Australia/NZ, Turkey, Slovenia, Argentina/Uruguay, Beirut, Baku, Copenhagen.
