Well, I'm not here to win a popularity contest, so here goes...
I'm pretty much a walking contradiction. If you saw me you'd probably think I listened to Dave Matthews Band and worked at J. Crew. I actually listen to hip-hop almost exclusively, and have a Jeep with black rims. My family and I are pretty conservative by nature. Sometimes I am blissfully happy reading for hours on end and expanding my knowledge, and other times I will karaoke Bone Thugs and Harmony (yes, Bone Thugs) at a bar and say something completely inappropriate to lighten the mood. My core of who I am will never change, but I believe in constantly reinventing myself and staying ahead of the curve of complacency. I don't like following the herd, or doing "what everyone is doing." But on the other hand, I believe in time-tested values, chivalry, and I am quite old-fashioned in my demeanor, mannerisms, and personality. I don't think you'll meet anyone like me...ever. If you like to laugh, you will like me. Guaranteed.
Everything else is pretty much negotiable.
I'm a high school teacher, a football coach, a son to two wonderful parents, a younger brother to two siblings, and a proud uncle. That is the core of who I am. Honor, integrity, good character, and virtue are four adjectives that I try to base my life upon.
