I'm a smart, successful, loyal, mature, emotionally available man looking for a partner in crime with whom I have the chemistry to share a life of love, affection, laughter, adventure, travel, romance, and joy and the trust and support to get through the bad times. But enough about you. :-) I'm sort of a Luddite at heart. I have the oldest typewriter in the world. It types in pencil. I like working with my hands and I like women who work with theirs. It helps balance out my braniac tendencies. Yes, I'm wicked smart (and I'm from Boston). For example, I have degrees in engineering, theatre, and film. Not that I place all that much stock in degrees, but it does show you what I've decided to put significant effort into learning. I've worked very hard to be well rounded. Still, there's no denying that I've tended to mind, spirit, and body in that order. I've spent more time meditating than at the gym, though these days not by much. My strengths include a passion for making the world a better place, exceptional loyalty, self-awareness, brains, and more than a little creativity. I'm always looking for ways to keep life fresh, to learn and grow, and to help my friends do the same. If you can poke me in the ribs when I get too serious and lovingly(!) kick me in the pants when I'm starting to slack, we'll both be happier for it. Not that I'm only looking for committed life partners. I'm also interested in making new local friends to replace the old ones who keep moving away. In fact, I prefer relationships to unfold through time spent together sharing passions, working toward goals, and having fun. Let's take a hike, ride a roller coaster, visit a winery, cook dinner together, watch a meteor shower, or take a weekend getaway and see what happens. If you like my profile but don't know what to say, then write to me with something that makes you laugh or something new you look forward to trying soon. Bonus points if you share something you have been wanting to do but have been afraid of. Or just give me a wink (send me an email that says "wink ;-)"). It's the girly thing to do, and sometimes that's refreshing.
