Enjoy laughing, making other people smile. One awesome son, 6, who is my life. I love being his father. Changed my life and career for him.10 yr Army veteran, now a civilian working in healthcare. I have a good job that I enjoy, and I own my home. I'm not someone that needs to be with someone, I want to. Believe you need to be ok with yourself before you can be with someone. I don't have trouble meeting women, so much as finding one I would like to be with.
Don't care for drama. Hate to be lied to. Will always own a motorcycle. Like to be sarcastic. Like to go out, although I haven't done that so much recently. The club scene gets old. Could shave or not, one preference of a woman I would humor because I think it's considerate. Could make chicken riggies or order a pizza. Watch a movie at home or go to the theater. Go to a little country bar for a beer, or make a weekend of going to a city, dress nice and do dinner and dancing. Like to have a beer but rarely ever see me drunk. Sit by the fire at home with a few friends, or turn my whole yard into a slip-n-slide and invite everyone.
I've done alot of things in my life. Gone skydiving, white water rafting, rapelling, seen over 160mph on 2 wheels, got to fly helicopters, done martial arts, tried boxing, gone cliff diving and bridge jumping, got in the ring with a bull, partied all over the world, etc.... However, alot of that is behind me and my son was the major influence in that. I don't belive that "growing up" means you change who you are so much as the decisions you make, ie. I still ride a motorcycle, but don't care to see 160mph. I can't imagine that ticket. I would rather throw a football with my son, than throw a punch, but I would fight to the death to protect the ones I love.
Music- I could listen to Pantera, Blake Shelton, Usher, Santana, John Lee Hooker, Tom Petty, Pitbull, Citizen Cope, Van Morrison, Goyte, Erick Church. Could rock out to My Darkest Days, Aston Martin Music or slow dance to Purple Rain. Music depends on mood, activity, setting etc. Don't do hardcore rap, most techno, or anything in a different language.
On the matter of divorced, I hate how it's the first thing listed like some brand on my forehead, but I'm honest. We didn't work out. It happens. We did a seperation agreement because neither party had grounds, and are now divorced. It was years ago, so it's not something fresh. I respect the fact that she is the mother of my son even though I don't always respect her actions. I am civil with her because the latter would not benefit my son, but that's about it.
I have never been on an internet dating site, so if I'm leaving something important out, feel free to ask. However, I haven't included every detail about myself because there has to be something left for a date. I believe in the value of looking someone in the eyes.
