I'm not going to try and repeat what my friends would say about me because it would not be flattering. Guys never compliment their friends.
I moved here a few years ago from upstate New York for a job (I'm an engineer) and haven't looked back. I try to spend as much time having a good time outdoors as possible: catching some live music at a tiki bar, on a dive boat or training for my next triathalon (there's 4 on the schedule for 2013). Looking for someone who doesn't mind having fun, the beach/ocean, and doesn't see anything wrong with watching the Tour De France in July. That's all. No need for a long-winded Chuck Klosterman type of essay here.
