About me :)
My name is Scott and I am a high school teacher. I haved lived in the L.A. area for most of my life and I love it here :) I am very active and I love to be outdoors (especially in the summer time). I love all types of sports. I'd really like to find someone who to enjoys being active, as well as a little friendly competition. In my spare time I enjoy golfing, riding trails on my mtn bike, laying out next to any body of water with a good book, cooking, playing with my dogs, and shooting. I played baseball in both high school and college. I went to college in a small town outside Dallas, TX and I absolutely loved it. I just couldn't call it home. I believe that family is the absolute most important thing in life and all of my family lives here in CA.
I am passionate about my family, my job, and everyday relationships. I enjoy what I do for a living. My days are never ever long and are always full of comedy. I also try to learn something new everyday and make myself a better person physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I think I am extremely blessed to have the opportunity to mold young minds, I find it so rewarding when a student leaves my class and enjoys success in life. Just knowing that I played some kind of small role in that success makes it all worth while.
I am a very laidback and easygoing person, I enjoy the simple things life has to offer. Life is way too short to spend it worrying or arguing about the small stuff. I am also one of the most understanding and loyal people you will ever meet. I am always honest and upfront with people because that is the way I'd like people to be with me. I'm also a bit old fashioned, I never let a female open a door, I like to write to my partner (I'm an excellent writer, and I like to send flowers to a girl when she's had a bad day.)
I would like to find someone who loves to have fun, someone who enjoys being spontaneous and someone who likes to laugh. Communication is extremely important to me. I need someone who communicates well, and speaks what is on her mind. I would really like to find someone else who also tries to find the positive side to every situation. It really isn't necessary to freak out over little things or argue over something that can be resolved through simply communicating better.
Traveling is something that I have not had the chance to do very much in the past, but it is definitely something I'd like to do a lot of in the future. My bucket list for traveling is so long but I would love to travel to places like, Australia, China, and everywhere in Europe. I'd really like to find a partner that likes to travel and experience new cultures and just have fun.
