I'm an easygoing, open-minded graduate student fairly new to Chapel Hill. I moved here to obtain a masters degree in social work, and I'm almost finished with the first of two years! :) I'm driven and passionate about life, and I'm looking to meet people who may share my interests, ideological values, and desire to never stop learning. I highly value being around people who are open to new ideas and opinions, are intellectually curious, and who are socially conscious.
Seeing as graduate school is very time-consuming, it would be great to meet someone who is understanding when it comes to its demanding nature. Although school keeps me busy, I love to go to live music shows, have a few drinks at laid-back bars, go to the movies, and enjoy the many wonderful things life has to offer outside of the academic world! Confidence, compassion, ambition, and a sense of humor are important qualities in a partner. If you enjoy thought provoking/intelligent conversation (social justice issues, politics, religion, etc.), going to live music shows, laughing, and don't take yourself too seriously, I would love to hear from you!
