Hi! I'm a fun, intelligent, and yes, sassy woman, and I am hoping to meet a guy who is both fun and intelligent, among other things, and who also enjoys a little sassyness. I was raised in Granite Bay but have been gone since high school, first in upstate NY for my undergrad at Saint Bonaventure (who made it to the tourny this year!) And then I was in San Diego at SDSU (also made it to the tourney) for my Masters program. After that I moved to Monterey to start a job and totally couldn't do the small town thing. So now I'm back in Sac-town! And yes I'm a Kings fan :-) I'm very well travelled beyond the places I mentioned and have a spent a lot of time out of the country - I hope to do more of that in the future! I'm sure you can tell I like sports. Well, I love sports really. Football is my favorite, but basketball, baseball, hockey...if it's on I'll watch it and if the tickets are affordable let's go! I tend to want to go to games the most, but I also like to go out and have drinks and food with friends, I love to dance, go to the movies, go exploring somewhere, find new historical interesting places, hit up Tahoe and board or raft down the river, or go down to Napa for some wine tasting. And I can't forget Apple Hill! Basically I like to have fun and get out and see all the world has to offer! At home I love love love to cook (and I'm good at it) and I like to catch up on my shows occasionally. For a chill afternoon, I'd prefer to have friends over and bbq and watch a game. I'm a bit of a chips and dips and bbq food fanatic so you better like to eat! I'm hoping to meet someone who enjoys doing the same things and who doesn't mind talking about sports or politics and what's going on in the world. I teach U.S. History and Gov/Econ at the high school level so I like to keep current and love a little friendly debate.
As for who I am, I'm a pretty complex person. Kind of hard to put on paper! I'm very deep, and very thoughtful and caring. I would do anything for my friends and family and am fiercely loyal. I'm constantly in awe of nature and the sky and the stars and it might sound corny, but just laying in the grass and looking up at the stars and the moon could take me away for a good hour a night. I love to learn - its really important to me that I learn something new everyday. I'm an npr junkie, and love stand up comedy on long car rides. People who can make me laugh are my favorite types and witty banter is always welcome....If I seem like your kind of girl, let me know!
