Who likes to write a description of him or herself? I told my girlfriend and she scribed "A collector of shoes, an appreciation for the finer things in life and I look fabulous whenever my stilettos hit the NYC concrete". While some of that is true, I am nowhere near vain or shallow as that description appears. While I am a woman who craves and appreciates the beautiful and finer things in life, I to indulge in the philosophical wonders, mystical mysteries and the less serious "how or why the hell do or did they do or say or want that" of life.
While I'm told I'm a verbal assassin and a manipulator of words, I'm not very good at writing about myself. I am a lady who loves in-person interaction and relish in verbal intercourse. For the lack of the REAL word I'd like to use, make love to my mind; anybody can be attractive physically. On those days we can't see each other, a phone call can soothe the soul; which brings me to my next question. Does anybody talk on the phone anymore? There is nothing like hearing a voice that enters your ear like Miles Davis on his horn or her laugh warming you up like an evening sitting on the water in the summer.
How would my friends, family and colleagues describe me? That depends on what day you ask! LOL Consistently, I am told I am KIND, WARM, LOVING, DEPENDABLE, HONEST, THOUGHTFUL, SEXY, INTELLIGENT, INQUISITIVE aka NOSEY (LOL), BRAVE, FUNNY, CHARISMATIC, FLIRTY, FUN and my favorite one of all since birth, SASSY!
My circle is small but STRONG. My life is simple but RICH. My experiences are scattered but VALUED. My wants and needs no matter how simplistic are IMPORTANT.
The man who will tickle my fancy has great respect for women, is emotionally mature (not afraid of commitment), enjoys life, has a level of optimism not easily shaken and would take great pleasure in introducing me and experiencing life through a different lens. This man is also sexy in his own right...I am aroused by intellect, different interests, perspectives...BUT please don't think you can't be FINE. ;-) Truth be told, looks ARE important! So he must be well groomed, smell good and a swanky (yep i said swanky) dresser; whether that includes a suit, jeans, boots, a fedora, a fitted, a button down, t-shirt, sweats, sneakers, etc... HE must exude confidence, not only physically but mentally. A man who is not AFRAID to explore, learn, re-learn and educate.
