Not sure yet... I suppose he would have most of his own teeth and be able to speak in complete sentences. Having hair and being able to groom himself would be a bonus. If he has ever attended school, I'd be happy with that.
Okay-- some REAL information about me. I am a career-minded professional mother, who has been raising my two children (and thousands of others via teaching) for more than a decade. I'm independent and busy, but not desperate. My theory is that the right guy will come along in God's time and he will be a perfect complement to me.
I was raised in Greater Cincinnati, but lived out of the area for nearly ten years. I returned after my divorce to be closer to my family. During that time, I also went back to school to change careers from news reporting to teaching because I needed a lifestyle that would allow me to spend time with my children. I entered the field of education for somewhat selfish reasons, but what I learned is that many of our children need an adult to spend time with them and they lack support and encouragement at home. I have spent nearly a decade working in urban education and have created programs that provide support for my students and their families. It is often said that your mission field is where you are... I firmly believe that.
What do I want in a mate? He needs to be able to hold his end of a conversation. I'm quick and witty and when the circumstances demand, can be quite feisty in presenting my points on a topic. He needs to be someone who understands the challenges of growing together and prompting the other to be the best they can be. He needs to have the heart of Jesus, understanding a life of loving, forgiving and serving. He also needs to be cute... maybe even HOT!!! ;)
