A Woman's Guide to Online Dating - In order of preference:
- don't post pictures of your dog (I'd like to meet you before I start thinking about your dog)
- don't only post 4 pictures of yourself
- don't say you like to travel, eat, shop, or that you like animals (that's like saying you like to go pee when your bladder is full, and kind of goes without saying)
- don't say you thought that you'd never try online dating (that's the general consensus)
- you MUST have a picture of yourself on potato chip rock!

Originally a beach guy at heart - Born and raised in OC, but recently relocated to downtown San Diego. I moved to San Diego from NYC, after living there for 4yrs and now see the beauty in all different areas of the world. Picked up some NY swagger and met a lot of lifelong friends along the way.
My lifelong goal is to travel as much as possible, and see every part of our expansive world. I also love meeting new people, experiencing new cuisines, and becoming aware of how other cultures live. I feel like so many people stay within their bubble, and never branch out.
I am a very laid back and loyal guy, who likes to make the best out of any situation, and doesn't take himself too seriously. I joke around.. A LOT, but can also focus when necessary. I love surfing, paddle boarding (anything to do with the ocean), cycling, running, playing piano and guitar, and learning new things. Sorry, it's hard to describe yourself without sounding like a total tool.
You are DEFINITELY my "soul mate" if you possess all of the following: You are exotic (I LOVE dark skin/dark hair), intelligent (I'm a total grammar geek), sarcastic, confident (believe me when I let you know how beautiful you are, each and everyday), outspoken and well-spoken, adventurous, spontaneous, don't have to always wear a ton of makeup, and LOVE music as well as the ocean.
We would probably get along if you too like the following bands: Nickelback, (joke..) Jimmy Eat World, The Get Up Kids, Led Zeppelin, Sia, Hendrix, Coldplay, Bon Iver, Gotye, Foo Fighters, The Black Crowes, Pearl Jam, Cher, Kings of Leon, Phil Collins, RATM, STP, 3EB, Halen, George Michael, INXS, Crazy Town, etc.
As far as my "ideal mate", it's pretty simple. I'm looking for a woman who is intelligent, witty, funny, gorgeous, etc.. You know.. The usual suspects. You're also my "ideal mate" if you know the difference between to, too and two, their, there and they're, and you're and your.
You love music and don't mind me playing guitar (my ex gf was a total brat about this.. Who doesn't like George Michael's 'careless whisper'?! Sheesh!)
You don't take yourself TOO (see what I did there?!) seriously.
I am not a huge fan of girls who are very materialistic, and MUST have everything "brand name". Don't get me wrong, I make a good living and have nice things, but it's not the only thing I care about - For instance, I'd prefer to travel someplace new, or experience something really exciting, rather than have a pair of True Religion jeans, or a pair of Prada sunglasses. SO LAME! I don't mean to sound judgmental, but I don't like fake boobs or tramp stamps, and to me, they are the biggest. turn. off. ever!! I'll never begin to comprehend why girls get them, but to each his/her own - Embrace your natural beauty!! All-in-all, I am a very real person, looking for a genuine woman, who treats everyone with a mutual respect - Kind of a "do unto others as you would have others do unto you" approach... I feel if everyone adopted this principle/idea, the world would be a much better place. I surround myself with good people, family, and friends, and am looking for someone to share that with me.
