Hello, I'm Sara. Nice to meet you...sort of. I'm an easy-to-smile kind of person. I can find joy in just about anything. In my spare time I like to be outside and playing games with friends as well as being a spectator. I really like watching the Texans (of course), the Aggies, and I would love to see the Dynamos play sometime. I go out to local bars/pubs with friends on the weekend. I enjoy the occasional two step and dance scene. I also spend time with family. I workout as much as I can at my local crossfit gym. Sometimes that means I go everyday, sometimes I can't go for a week or two at a time. I LOVE to travel. I believe strongly that kindness, a curiosity for life, and the willingness to work hard can take you just about anywhere.
I am a high school biology teacher and swim coach. I love working with people, science, learning, and being active so it's kind of the perfect job for me. I wouldn't trade it for anything else! The last couple of months I've really been focusing on work and kind of left match and other things behind. It's only my 2nd year teaching and I am passionate about being a good teacher and giving a great education to every student no matter race, religion, language, achievement level, ability, or disability. That takes time, a lot of time the past couple of months, but I think I have turned a corner and want to spend more time enjoying more free time, and hopefully free time with someone new.
Everyone is looking for all the same qualities in their partner, but here it goes. I look for kindness, a desire to go out at try new things or something unexpected, a good work ethic, someone who can find fun wherever they are, putting others before self, independence, family oriented, straightforward, likes to travel on a budget, be outside and active, smart, good at communicating what they want or need, and you know what...a little goofy, weird or silly. I like goofy, weird, and silly. Just a general all around good guy.
I also believe that life is to be lived, and with that being said I will try anything once. Who knows what you'll find if only you try? Have any ideas? Message me.
