So, about me and who I am looking for. Well, to start off with I am sarcastic and pretty easy going. I am a bit of a science nerd and love food and sports, which is how I stumbled upon becoming a Registered Dietitian. I feel lucky I was able to find something that combines things I enjoy. I lead a pretty active life and like to keep busy. I'm usually training for some kind of race. I say training, but I really just mean running. I'm not super serious about it and if I didn't like it I wouldn't do it. Right now it's the Northwest Passage Ragnar. I also love music, art, traveling, movies and have a thing for theaters that show old movies. I tend to spend a lot of time cooking, baking, going to concerts, baseball games and playing volleyball. I have lived outside of the US a few times and try to travel as much as possible. I also have a large family (5 bothers and sisters and 14 nieces and nephews with 1 more on the way) that I love and try to see as often as I can.
I grew up in California and 2 years ago left sunny San Diego for even sunnier Denver for work. I have a intense job, that I absolutely love, but that can take up quite a bit of my time. I also do some volunteer work in the same field with an organization called IAEDP. Due to the nature of my job I often value my alone time, but am also a pretty social person.
Since I am still a little new to Denver I really enjoy spending time exploring the city as well as the mountains. I grew up surfing, not skiing, but wouldn't mind learning how. I enjoy being outside, but also enjoy spending a day relaxing and watching movies. I'm just as happy going to the batting cages as I am getting dressed up to go out to dinner.
I'd like to meet someone who can help me to unwind at the end of a rough day, whether that is just hanging out at home or going out, and doesn't mind someone who is independent. I am looking for someone who can make me laugh and is honest and kind, loves to travel and try new things.
