I am a very down to earth guy looking for a down to earth girl. I can be quite sarcastic at times, so being able to be right back is important. I'm looking for a girl who can be nerdy and fine with a jeans and a cute shirt, but then likes to be girly and get dressed up. Ideally, she will like sports, especially football. However, I wouldn't mind having to teach someone football either. I try to stay active, but not over the top. If you are at least hitting the gym and running, perfect. If you are running marathons and half marathons on a monthly basis and you live in the gym, then I probably won't be able to keep up with you.
I enjoy different cultures and love to travel. I have been to Europe twice and loved every minute of it. I hope to continue to explore and find new and ever more fascinating places. I love languages and think multilingualism is sexy. I love tons of different types of food and am not picky at all. Pickiness is a huge pet peeve...please be willing to expose yourself to new things, especially delicious food!
I love football and love my Chargers, even though they break my heart on a yearly basis. I also enjoy baseball, although it is best enjoyed while actually at a game. I also enjoy watching soccer, especially the World and Euro Cups.
I am definitely a nerd and love movies video games. For those who have red flag shoot up over video games, let me assuage your fears: I enjoy video games, but not obsessively so. You will not find me hold up in some basement, pale as a ghost, screaming at the screen because I was just killed in Halo. If you like movies like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Iron Man, Batman, etc., then you are probably right up my alley.
I have seven tattoos and plan on getting a couple more. None are in any prominent or noticeable places, but if you don't like ink, then I am probably not a good match. Bad grammar is a pet peeve of mine, so if you don't know how to use a comma and do not know the difference between their, there, and they're, then please move along. I lived in Milwaukee for seven years (four while attending Marquette and three after), but the siren's call of San Diego beckoned me back. I miss certain aspects of the Midwest, especially my friends, but I definitely don't miss the crazy weather. I'd classify my style as a mixture of Southern Californian/Hipster/Rockabilly. I am a WWII history buff and used to be a GI reenactor. Yes, incredibly dorky, but I loved it and got to slightly experience what the vets went through, as well as getting to meet some of the Greatest Generation first hand.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'm very open and honest!
