I'm originally from Toronto which means I'm only obnoxious at hockey games, say "sorry" far too often and will never understand your temperature system.
I came to New York for school and now work in fashion as a buyer. I was about two seconds away from becoming an accountant and feel truly blessed that I enjoy going to work every day doing something I love. Since I work and play in a business where most men prefer their own kind, I thought this might be a good way to meet someone who doesn't.
I consider myself ambitious but don't take anything too seriously (except punctuality). I'm spontaneous and am up for anything and everything (no really, I went to Medieval Times last weekend).
In a previous life, I was a competitive figure skater which gave me the amazing opportunity to experience tons of different countries and cultures, although spending a week in a rink just doesn't cut it. I'm definitely looking at traveling more.
Oh, and I won my grade 6 geography prize...jealous?
I really appreciate someone with a great sense of humor and who loves good wine, food and conversation. My family and friends mean more to me than anything and I am looking for someone who feels the same way.
Speaking of you, I hope you're easy-going, confident, funny, social, sweet, intelligent and might still open a door for me once in a while. I don't care what you do, as long as you enjoy it but don't let it define you entirely. I hope you're ambitious, adventurous and loving life because it's too short to be anything but happy.
