ABOUT HIM & WHO HE'S LOOKING FOR

Hello! My name's Chris- thanks for stopping by!

I am very happy and proud of the life I've created for myself, and I want to find someone incredible to share it with.

I moved to Colorado in May 2013 after living in NYC for the last 9 years, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Don't get me wrong; I loved my time in Manhattan. I just like saying hello to people I don't know in the grocery store and making eye contact when speaking to others (both of which are outlawed in New York City).

I am a fee-only financial advisor which means I charge my clients for advice, and I'm not compensated on any products I sell. I work for a small but impressive firm in Buena Vista and Salida, and I'm working to make partner in about a year. I truly love what I do because I make a major difference in my client's lives. I can absolutely say that they're better off from working with me than if we never met. Their gratitude is the true reward of the job to me.

I've been busy since moving out here. I joined my town's Rotary Club and spearheaded one of our fundraisers, volunteered a few times at the Habitat for Humanity build and accepted a position on the Board of Directors of Salida's Chamber of Commerce. I'd like to join the local Search & Rescue, but I don't want to get overwhelmed- maybe next year.

The most important attributes in who I'm looking for would be passionate, honesty, passionate, straightforward communication, positivity, passionate, a great sense of humor, and someone who's also not afraid to go after what they want in life. It would also be good if you were passionate.

I enjoy being physically fit and strong, and I hope you share the same passion for health as I do. I snowboard and snowshoe all the time in the winter, and I usually get one good hike (6-12 miles) in every weekend in the summer. I also play a ridiculous amount of disc golf.

Oh and I cook... Very well.

Please email me if I peak your interest; winks are for the bashful and timid!

Good luck in your search!

Vermont (went to college there, still have some friends upstate), England (lived there for 4 years), and of course NYC. I'm already having separation anxiety over the pizza...

**UPDATE** I no longer get to read for pleasure since I'll be spending the next few years adding letters behind my name.
