I moved to Chicago about a year ago, and I have really enjoyed exploring the city. I'm trying the on-line thing because I'm finally settled here and looking to meet someone, and a number of my friends have found great people on match.
I am originally from Madison, WI, and I went to college at Michigan (go blue!). Since college, I lived in St. Louis and NYC before moving to Chicago. I love being back in the midwest, and especially in Chicago, which is a perfect combination of cosmopolitan and down-to-earth.
What else? I love trying new spots in Chicago, I am constantly trying new restaurants and bars with friends. I also enjoy getting active. I recently joined the East Bank Club and I love spending weekend days there.
And I love to travel. My most recent trips have been to Colombia, Italy, and Spain. I love warm weather spots, maybe because I live in Chicago?!
Finally, maybe I should say something about who I am looking for. I gravitate toward people who are uncomplicated and laugh easily; who are considerate, affectionate, and thoughtful; and who have the passion and drive to explore Chicago and the world. I am very family oriented and hope to meet someone who deeply values their family and friends.
