Just moved to back to Philly after almost 10 years in Colorado. I have never done the online dating thing before, but I am finding myself hanging out with friends who are all in serious relationships and know no single people so I figured I’d give this a shot.
Let's see... about me.... I'm an old soul who's extremely open-minded and live by the try-anything-once philosophy. I love to travel, and often find myself daydreaming about where to go next. I love to read, and often think about going back to school, mostly because I realized I actually like to learn (I know, I'm a geek). I love good food and wine, and would be most happy trying a new BYO with a good bottle of wine or cooking dinner and watching good (or bad) movies.
I love my family, but really didn't mind living far away, and would strongly consider moving again, ideally to the west coast or out of the country. Also, I am still a bit on the fence about kids, but think if the right person came along I could be convinced.
I am an only child, and because of that have very strong relationships with my friends, who are like my family. I am loyal to a fault and will do anything for a good friend.
I am looking for someone who shares my same interests, is laid-back but still goal oriented and successful, is adventurous, and you know...ideally is attractive.
Finally, I have never done this online dating thing before so I am not really sure what the etiquette is. I am told it looks bad for me to be in touch first, that I shouldn't "poke" people, or send a message first.... All of that is too confusing for me. I don't play games.
