I'm friendly and warm, with a positive attitude. Among my best traits, I'm easygoing, open-minded, adventuresome, playful, athletic, intelligent, and caring. And incredibly modest. ;) I enjoy a wide variety of sports and outdoor activities, with biking, skiing, swimming, sailing, golf, tennis, triathlons, and kayaking being some of my favorites. I also love to travel, both for weekend trips and longer excursions. Both water and snow have special appeal to me, which makes a lot of sense considering that I grew up on a river in Alaska. I also enjoy restaurants, movies, plays, travel, reading, cooking, cards, and board games. Basically I enjoy almost everything, if it's with the right person or group. I transplanted to the Bay Area for grad school and have lived here ever since. I enjoy life in SF, but definitely need a regular nature fix to be at my best. (Thankfully this beautiful haven offers us many opportunities for that.) I grew up with a great family (one of six kids) and great friends, and I continue to value and enjoy them both. I'm looking forward to the future, and to meeting "the one" to share it all with!I believe that a successful relationship requires common interests, common values, and a shared vision, as well as mental and physical chemistry.
