My job makes me laugh, shout, and yes occasionally even shed a tear or two (though if you ask, I'll never admit it). It's never easy, but I love teaching. That's probably a good thing given that I deal with 150 angst filled, sarcastic, and moody teenagers every day, but they are hilarious and amazing... just don't tell them that because it'll go to their heads. The other sweet part of my job is that whenever it gets a little boring, I can set something on fire or do something like convince a kid/myself to shock themselves... on their tongue. It's all in the job description!
I grew up in SoCal, but fell in love with the bay area during college. I'll try/do almost anything active: skiing/boarding, hiking, camping, yoga, dodgeball, Tough Mudder, skydiving, etc. Lately I've been into hiking local trails, walking around the city, and an occasional yoga class.
When I'm not out and about, I typically like unwind by cooking and splitting a good bottle of wine. I'm sarcastic and nerdy, patient enough to work with teenagers, and enjoy being a goofball from time to time. I'm pretty driven, so I like taking on new side projects in education. I’m looking for someone who is smart, driven/passionate, and down for an occasional hike (among other adventures).
