This looks like an intersting site so why not see what its all about. Friends have talked about it before and these sorts of things dont really interest me but life is about meeting new people and I figured why not see whats out there, right?
I live in SF but feel somewhat split between this great city and Los Angeles. I went to college at Stanford and love all that this area/city has to offer - where else can you be so close to so many different things (Napa, Tahoe, et al). Used to live in LA and visit all the time for work and to spend time with "family". I love being active (enjoy working out, traveling, experiencing new aspects of life) but am just as comfortable staying in and taking it easy. I guess thats sort of a contradiction but I can appreciate both. Being social is great but so is putting on a fire and watching a movie. I love my family (come from a great one), believe that brains/depth of character are just as important as outer beauty (and probably far more rare) and have always appreciated those that are over-achievers - always trying to better themselves and learn something new.
