Lets see, I am a San Diego native. I did spend a few years living outside CA in the state of Florida. I eventually returned :) There is way too much humidity in the south. I'll take dry desert heat any time. I absolutely love living in San Diego and I pretty much never want to leave. I am an engineer (and a nerd) and I enjoy my job immensely and work with a fantastic group of people. I consider myself incredibly lucky that a) I live in a city I love and b) I love my job. I am a very driven person and work hard at everything I do. I enjoy a sarcastic sense of humor. I am a loyal friend and value loyalty in others greatly. I enjoy an active lifestyle -- sports are fun! I pretty much try to do something active most days of the week. And yes, I like football. I am am avid reader (i.e. bibliophile) and enjoy relaxing with a good book. I love music - especially live music. I pretty much listen to any type of rock/folk/indie with some random stuff thrown in. I am very close to my family and maintaining that closeness is very important to me.
What I'm looking for: Good question. I could probably list out a bunch of things, but mostly I'm interested in someone who makes me happy and me them. Someone who will be my best friend and partner in life. I'm not really looking to rush into anything, just take it one step at a time.
