Nobody should take life so seriously! If at first you don't succeed... don't try skydiving. Honestly though, like many, I never thought I'd try online dating... but here I am.
A little about me: I enjoy the outdoors and doing anything from playing tennis to camping. I play guitar, love music, relish a great glass of wine even on a quiet night in, take pride in my work, and am thankful that I have such a close family (which is very important to me). I believe in old school chivalry and being a gentleman (I just find it amazing that so many guys don't open doors, push in chairs, and generally act with respect). I love to cook, enjoy trying new things, and my friends would say I'm loyal and selfless even to a fault (whatever that means). I'm grounded yet spontaneous, serious and sarcastic, easy going yet not completely indecisive, and I enjoy an intelligent conversation with someone who can keep me on my toes. I live in Santa Barbara, my office is in Ventura, and work takes me throughout California, in particular LA and Orange County weekly.
I've worked hard to get where I am today, and it's time that I had someone to share it with, a partner in crime. I've learned that no person is perfect, but experiencing the ups and downs with the right person can be. I've also learned that while love may be effortless, relationships take work.
I hope to find that special someone to come home to after a long day and share a glass of wine over a show like True Blood, Californication, Boardwalk Empire, or even Grey's Anatomy (yes, I admitted I watch it), spend the weekend with wine tasting in the Santa Ynez Valley, relaxing by the pool, or just hanging out with friends.
A good sense of humor is a must, fitness a priority, and she must have passion. I LOVE to travel, so she had better be open to exploring the world. I hope to find someone who drives me to be a better person, and a better partner.
Lastly, I'm here for the real thing. Ask me anything else you want to know.
