About Me...
Originally a mid-westerner, been in (and out of) San Diego for the last 13 years, living in a few different U.S. cities as well as one abroad...this is definitely home. Most passionate about traveling, sports and music. With traveling, it is probably my favorite thing to do. Experiencing it, writing about it and photographing it. It is very important to me, something I've always done and something I will always continue to do until I'm physically unable to. While I don't travel specifically for work anymore, my job is done remotely, so as long as there's an internet connection, I can be anywhere on the planet to do it!
I'm a big fan of music, whether it's adding to my extensive collection, going to see it live or even occasionally playing. Always on the hunt to add, see old favorites and discover new.
I’m into just about everything outdoors – beach, golf, surfing, swimming, hiking, skiing, camping and landscape photography. I've lived and worked for a few years around Asia and discovered that lizard feet are actually a delicacy in some parts of the world. While I love trying new restaurants and foods, have to draw the line somewhere.
I’m extremely close with my family and spoil my niece and nephews as much as possible. While the immediate is still back in the midwest, I am very lucky to have many extended in the area. Extremely thankful to have a great family and network of friends. Although we are spread across the country, we are very tight, close knit group and all understand how lucky we are to have each other.
Who I'm Looking For...
First and foremost, I am here hoping to meet a great woman. Online dating, while not the way I envisioned meeting someone, has worked for several people I know and it's just another avenue to possibly meet someone great, you might not normally get the chance to. Besides, when everyone you know is married and on kid #3, not too many nights out on the town these days!
Ideally, I'd like to find someone who is fun, educated, honest, positive, ambitious, independent, happy, etc...just an overall good person...you know...all the 'normal' stuff. Someone who shares similar interests is a plus (not a requirement), values and is at that 'place' where a long term relationship is a priority would be a bonus. I personally enjoy living a very active and adventurous lifestyle, so I hope my partner is at least open towards the same. Someone who wants to have fun and looking for excitement, but also knows when to be serious and humble when needed. I have a great life and I'd love to share that with someone special.
