I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley on South Padre Island. I went to
school in New Orleans and then lived in D.C. for three years with a
short stop in Austin and Boise along the way. I came back to Texas
to go to law school here in San Antonio in 2005.
San Antonio has certainly grown on me over the years. I really like how it is
becoming more progressive (at least in pockets). I love the effort to revive downtown, use alternative energy and make the city
more accessible to runners and cyclists. The restaurant scene has
improved so much since I moved here and it seems like there is always a
new restaurant, bar, or event to check out. I just read that the city is considering building a baseball stadium downtown which would make me epically happy and I can't wait for the new mission trails to open.
I have two big dogs (Weim and Golden) and two cats who spend most of their time harassing the dogs.
I am looking for someone who makes me laugh and who genuinely enjoys life. Someone who cares deeply for his family and friends and is passionate about his interests, whatever they are. People don't always notice that I could use a helping hand now and again. I have always been an active volunteer and I love being able to help my friends and family out when they need it. Sometimes though it would be nice to lean on someone else's shoulder.
