I'm a big believer that one's age is more about your outlook on life and how you take care of yourself and others than it is about how many times the earth has circled the sun. I have been around long enough to know what I want, to achieve a position in life to reach for it, but young enough in mind and spirit to enjoy the adventure. I guess you could say that I have grown older but not grown up as I am still looking to have fun and find someone to share it with.
I like to consider myself a modern day Renaissance man. I'm self motivated and successful, my own boss, creative with a good sense of humor, adventure and fun. I can cook a romantic candlelight dinner for two or throw a party for 100 in my backyard. I can fly a plane, rebuild an engine, build a house (very handy with tools) read a map, work in the garden, scuba dive and ski. I seem to be adept at a lot of things or know at least enough about them to be dangerous. I enjoy spending time with someone special but realize that everyone needs some time to themselves now and then.
I like to work hard but it's a means to and end so I make sure to take time to play and enjoy life. Traveling the world and exploring new places is one of my passions, both historical locations (Rome, Paris, Egypt, China) and some fun in the sun (Brazil, Mexico, Tahiti, Caribbean) I am looking for someone I can laugh and share the world with. Someone who offers my mind a challenge and wants a home life with family and friends but also wants to travel to exotic places, laughing and enjoying our time spent together and sharing the adventure of life.
I've been fortunate in my life to have gone to many wonderful places and done fantastic things and hope that life will allow me to do more, but what I have learned is that without the right person to share them with, that's all they are - places and things. Some of the best times in my life have been found in doing the mundane everyday things of life, like cooking dinner, going to the grocery store or running to the bank. With the right person, somehow the mundane things can seem like a great adventure
I'm looking for someone with a shared sense of adventure, a good sense of humor and looking to have fun. Someone that can find the spirit of adventure in anything. A true partner in what we do. Someone who knows that life's a journey and it's too short to not take time to laugh at the world or oneself. She should be willing to try new things and enjoys experiencing the world for all it has to offer and not expecting everywhere to be just like home. Someone who is enough like me to have common ground but different enough to keep it interesting and to challenge me. Honesty and loyalty are important to me and should be the corner stone of any relationship. Someone who knows when to take something serious but won't die of embarrassment when caught off guard. I've reached the point in my life where I have a fairly good idea of who I am looking for but it isn't cast in stone. It's hard to get to know someone from just a paragraph or two, but if I don't seem to answer your email or wink, it may be that I just don't think that we would be a good match.
My daughter is the center of joy in my life and it is important that I am with someone who accepts her as part of the relationship. That being said, I'd love to have another child with my partner, so keep that in mind.
I'm looking for someone who is looking for the same. Someone who wants to share the fun of life together. Does this sound like you?
