Jesus is my Savior. I want to start out with that, the most important thing in my life.
So about me...I enjoy long walks in the desert at high noon in blistering heat....if that doesn't sound romantic, I'm not sure what would ;)
Ok starting over. I love meeting new people and having new experiences. I choose to think positive and have fun no matter what because life is what you make of it... Taking time for those we care about and living in the moment is a must, because we may never again have the same opportunity. Good character is invaluable. I admire this quote by Abe Lincoln: "The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just."
I strive for balance. We need both work and relaxation. All kinds of things make me laugh or smile...I like people's quirks and flaws (not dysfunctional ones though haha) and think that makes them more attractive and human. People describe me as being emotionally honest. I enjoy really connecting with others on a deep level.
God, family and friends take priority for me over material things because I know that relationships bring true happiness!
On weekends, I occasionally hike away from it all and spend time in the outdoors, Nature's therapeutic. I really enjoy just doing random stuff with friends, because it can sometimes lead to the most fun adventures!
As for career, I recently graduated from dental school and am looking for work at the moment; I worked as an RN for 5 years before.
A couple more random facts, My favorite movie is "The Last of the Mohicans" (because of the scenery, adventure, and romance) and favorite comic is "Calvin and Hobbes." A song that makes me feel wistful is Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.
I am looking for a woman that loves God first and foremost and the word "Christian" is not just a label for them, but a way of life. Coming from being a "lukewarm" Christian to being a sold-out for God Christian has seriously changed my life and I never want to go back.
The traits I like in a person are honesty, empathy, optimism, ability to communicate and basically perfection.... just kidding about the last one ;). Basically, I'm looking for a girl that's got a bit more going for her than just looks. I know what I want in life, and I hope that you would too. Oh ya, and someone who doesn't mind kissing in the rain, because I really do find that romantic (as opposed to the desert thing above). Ya pretty cheesy I know :).t
