I'm educated, fun-loving, secure, respectful and a music lover, especially rock and roll, blues and folk music, although I listen to classical when I'm writing. I have a writing career (no, not novels ... yet) but right now I'm finishing a master's degree.
I love the outdoors: hiking, kayaking, biking, camping, bonfires, dogs, stars, storms ... I love to read and travel and am curious about all kinds of things, so going to museums, flea markets, the Star-lite Lounge, Native American tribal ceremonies or pie-making contests at the county fair all sound like fun.
I have no scary baggage like secret substance-abuse problems, a torrid crime-ridden past or a stalker ex-boyfriend. I've not had perfect relationships in the past but have worked to learn from my experiences, to try to improve and grow. Something that would make me a good partner is that I don't need to have a relationship - I want one. I want a healthy one, with a guy who has integrity and compassion, but can laugh, relax and enjoy life with family and friends.
It's tough to say exactly what traits I'm looking for because you just don't know who your spirit will light up for until you meet that person and something just goes off - maybe not on the first date, but you know something's there even though it might take a few dates to feel the full electricity. If there is chemistry, love and passion will usually follow.
