In my youth I was a two time Canadian figure skating champion, classically trained in ballet and narrowly missed making the Olympic team in 1998. I moved on from elite athletics, to a certain extent and got a degree in film, and studied at the Harvard business school, before I went into finance, then left that to move to Hong Kong for some adventure and excitement.
I live a very fluid and global lifestyle, I'm mainly based out of Hong Kong where I've lived for the last 10 years, I'm in the process of setting up new apartments in NYC and London, and travel for short stints in between the three cities. love to explore and enjoy a contemporary and cultured lifestyle and a global network of creative friends in fashion, film, music and design.
Previously in my career I started and grew a very successful fashion brand that focused on high end designer sneakers, we had over 80 retail customers around the world and two stores in Taipei. I've recently moved on from that company and have married my background in film/design, and finance and currently have a boutique financial advisory, business strategy, and venture capital firm.
My work and my play often overlaps as I'm always around ambitious entrepreneurs who are very well travelled and enjoy the best of everything. Therefore we travel well and frequently, attend a lot of music, film, and fashion events, and enjoy well designed environments and interesting people from all walks of life.
I'm a very easy going guy, but do not suffer fools gladly, I like intellectuals and creatives, athletic types who want to live a vibrant and stimulating life, but at the same time have no problem reading a book and doing their own thing.
I'm looking for a compliment, not an accessory, so if I leave you along at event, of any class--my partner should be able to hold their own.
I cannot stand mediocrity, or middle of the road type anything--especially in culture
