How are you doing? I find it so hard to write these things so please bare with me... if you have any questions, feel free to message me :)
I've lived in Toronto my whole life. I grew up in North York and have since moved down to the Annex. I work as a High School Teacher in Special Education. I feel very fortunate to be working where I am working and with the students that I teach.. I have wonderful friends who are always there for me. I am also really close to my sister who lives in England. I usually visit her once a year.
In my spare time I take a pottery class (I'm no where close to Demi Moore's level in Ghosts... I'm lucky if the clay doesn't fly off the wheel). I also like to keep active. I recently took up Volleyball and found it to be a lot of fun (especially Beach Volleyball in the summer!). I also like to swim, run and occasionally take yoga and dance classes.
I spend my downtime reading, knitting and watching cheesy movies (e.g. Elf, She's the Man, Freaky Friday, The Other Guys are just a few). I recently held Harry Potter Marathon...
I debated on whether or not to add the next bit... but I also have a gluten allergy (yeah... I'm one of THOSE...) It runs in my family and it sucks. I'm only disclosing it here because I find it so awkward to bring it up when I meet new people. That said... I make some pretty awesome gluten free chocolate chip cookies and pies!
