Hi there, my name is Rob and I am an energetic professional and enjoy being active, particularly outdoors and in all seasons. I have raised three successful children who now live overseas and have developed into wonderful young adults - I visit them whenever I can and we always make time at Christmas and New Year for a big family re-union, usually at my brother's home in Scotland.
I love spending time with horses - they teach me patience and discipline. I used to ride more but now just volunteer with the therapeutic riding program in Rocky River - this way I may be around them and also be of some help to our local community.
I have recently begun another kind of riding at local racetracks. I have owned and been around motorbikes all my life and have now traded street riding for track riding / racing. It is physically and mentally demanding (and scary at times, lol), but keeps me young at heart!
I consider myself honest and reliable, very family oriented, patient, caring and generous with my time and resources. I am a loving, passionate and sensual man and loyal when in a relationship. I love to be around others and to share stories and experiences. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing how connections and co-incidences pan out - we truly do live in a world of (I think now) 4.7 degrees of separation.I am awed by this world in which we live and try to make the most of every moment and opportunity.
I am looking for a lady who is emotionally mature, a wonderful lady, a faithful lady, and intelligent lady, a true best friend, one who enjoys similar activities yet has her own interests and passions such that we may compliment each other. I seek to develop a loving and mutually giving 50:50 relationship with this lady, walking hand in hand through life, neither controlling nor being controlled, just sharing, loving and growing as one as we age.
Three things I have learned in life that I feel are important to share:
(i) Don't become too attached to things
(ii) Try not to judge others
(iii) Always try and accept things for what they are
And finally, a thought on love from the most beautiful book ever written:
"Love is patient and is kind;
Love does not envy. Love does not brag, is not proud,
does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek it's own way,
is not provoked, takes no account of evil,
does not rejoice in unrighteousness,
but rejoices with the truth,
bears all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things,
Love never fails"
I hope we may find the happiness we seek - God bless us all,
