I'm an optimistic, intelligent, and friendly girl. I love TV comedies (The Office, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl) and action adventure/fantasy movies. I'm not a super active person, but I like the volunteer opportunities I've gotten involved with and am looking for new ways to become more involved. I'm a social person but working with four people, all of whom are at least 40, makes it difficult to meet new people. So, hi!
I moved away from my friends and family in New Jersey to pursue my dream job in DC, at Character Education Partnership, which ended when its grant ran out, but I like it here, so I'm continuing to work for a national school public relations organization now.
Being away from the people I love has made me appreciate them so much more, but I'm also thankful for the new friends I've made so far. :)
I'm confident that this site can help me find "the one" but as it stands now, I'm looking more for a friendship that can develop into something more. I'm interested in taking things very slow, and I want that to be clear. I'm always looking for someone fun, funny, smart, and caring, though.
Communication is important to me in a relationship, and you need to have a good command of grammar/spelling/the English language for me to be interested. If you don't know the difference between your and you're, or there/their/they're, please don't demonstrate that to me. You can move on to the next girl. Also, lose doesn't mean loose. (Sorry if this sounds condescending, but communication is my profession and it's important to me.)
I'm most passionate about helping people reach their potential. My life goal is to be a positive role model for children. I aspire to be famous someday, for a good reason, so I can both meet all of the celebrities I admire and start making a global difference.
