I'm fun, and funny, and I'm excited about meeting new people...fun, well-mannered, funny, charming new people. I'm not afraid of conversation or being adventurous, but I'm okay with quiet evenings and counting stars...and while I'm not a huge sports enthusiast, I do love a good baseball game. I think Bobby Cox is the bees knees. I'll watch football, hockey, and have recently discovered that I enjoy watching rugby (even if I don't quite get all the rules yet). I need more education on soccer--I have yet to understand why they stop play when they do, or don't stop play when I assume they will...
Oh, and I do believe a good woman should know how to make biscuits. Call me old fashioned, but if she can't make biscuits, you should turn around and walk away. And if she asks you "What's a biscuit?"...don't just walk, run. That being said, I can hold my own with the debs at the Country Club as easily as I can with the characters at my local Walmart. I'm a chameleon...
My church life is important to me. It's gotten me through hard times, and I am so appreciative of that. It's also given me the opportunity to meet really fantastic people, some of whom are the best friends I've ever had. I also love, love, love my family. We spend a lot of time together. My little old Maw Maw is my biggest fan and I am hers. While I do believe in being independent, I'm also a fan of chivalry...I'm not convinced it's dead, and I certainly don't believe it should be.
Bottom line: I didn't start a Match account because I'm looking for a hook-up...and I'm also not settling for just anything. A girl's got to have standards, right? It's time to get out of the house, meet new people, and make new friends. Then...who knows. Right now, I'm not in any particular rush. You should know, I'm a bit of a traditionalist...I don't really get the whole "wink" thing (not that I'm not flattered, I'm also not always the most patient, so I'd rather cut to the chase and get the conversation started), and I find it difficult to be the first to email (call me old-fashioned).
