Unfortunately being on the road constantly has made meeting new people very difficult (plenty of strangers but few memorable friends). Given the success my friends have had online, I figured it was my turn to hit the front lines and try a new and aggressive approach.
In terms of describing myself, don't let the constant traveling give you the impression of vagrancy. I have a stable medical professional career, but have leveraged it to achieve maximal free time. I was working in academics initially and have been a locum tenens physicians for the last few years. It's afforded me the opportunity to work in a wide variety of locations across the country while keeping a part time residence in one location. Hopefully this should provide me with latitude to meet people anywhere at anytime.
