I'm down to earth and straightforward/honest, so I look for the same. Also, a bit sarcastic and have a cynical sense of humor sometimes - a guy has to make me laugh to get to my heart. Looking for someone creative but also realistic...and always optimistic.
I'm from the country outside of Pittsburgh, PA - although they say opposites attract, I best get along with individuals with a similar upbringing. I like the city, but when I need to recharge, I need the country.
I have a great relationship with my parents/family. I never thought of it as something to look for (someone who is close to his family), but I'm now seeing its importance. It's all apart of having a good foundation...Again though, there could be exceptions.
A guy who is driven but wants to share the experience with another is ideal(one who is driven and blocks others out, would be the opposite). A good relationship would be one in which we can keep our own lives and friends, but still have each other.
Enjoy traveling --have lived in Spain. Being on a trip outside of my comfort zone is a reminder that more is out there in the world-- a refreshing thought. Someone who is always up for adventure and not afraid to try new things would be ideal. If I didn't have to worry about money, I'd go everywhere and try everything. Even jump out of airplanes, provided I'm given a parachute instead of a tire.
Ultimately, I'm looking for someone genuine, goodhearted, and honest...you should be on this site to meet someone as opposed to just fuel your ego or fill an insecure void. Oh, and I really hope chivalry isn't dead, because a guy who was raised to have manners and open doors for women, gets an A in my book.
