2013 is off to a great start for me and I expect it to keep getting better. My business is taking off and my social life is fun, but I'm missing a great guy to enjoy it all with. I'm looking for that rare magical chemistry that gives us butterflies and is there from the first time we meet, talk on the phone, or read eachother's profiles. Searching for that guy is like hunting for a needle in a haystack, but I know he's out there somewhere, so hopefully 2013 is the year we finally meet eachother.
I have been involved with real estate management since 2006 and become more involved in real estate every year. I own rental property and really want to find a guy who appreciates, understands, and is interested in real estate too. I also like guys who work in finance, investing, remodeling, construction management or own their own business. I may be interested in non-real estate guys, but if you plan on being a renter for life, we probably are not a good match.
I've lived in Texas all my life and my family lives here too. I'm the oldest of 3 kids and we grew up in a very small country town climbing trees, swimming in ponds, and riding cows. My parents owned a restaurant for 23 years, so I spent my childhood summers chopping veggies, making desserts, and experimenting with spices. My dad had an "eat what you cook" rule, so we became great chefs at a young age. We moved to a North Houston suburb for high school and I eventually moved to San Marcos for college. I moved back to the Houston area for a short bit after college, but quickly made my way back to Austin. I bought a home in 2007 with dreams of getting married and living in North Central Austin with someone special. Unfortunately, it's been over 5 years and I still have not met the right guy to enjoy it all with. I'm very close to giving up on my dream of finding love living in Austin. This city is filled with single musicians, writers, film makers, and starving artists but very few single business men and entrepreneurs. Because of this, I will also considering dating guys in Houston or Dallas. I love Austin and never want to move away, but I will leave this fabulous city if that's what I have to do to meet someone to enjoy my life with. ACL, SXSW, Zilker, Town Lake, and random weekend festivals are not fun to go to alone or as the 3rd wheel with my couple friends.
Pretty much all my friends and siblings either moved, got married, engaged, or met the love of their life within the last year. My little sister and cousin got married in 2010 and are both pregnant. My younger brother is basically engaged and so are 2 of my younger cousins. I went to 5 weddings for friends over the summer so now I don't have any single girlfriends left to go out with. Most of 2012, I’ve been missing out on fun events because I’m not half of a couple and it sucks. So for 2013, I'm actively looking for a smart guy with attractive looks and an even more attractive personality. If we hit it off, I'll want to do “couples things” together with our friends like Sunday brunches, dinner parties, dates to weddings, couples wedding/baby showers, matching Halloween costumes, keep me warm on cold camping trips. I own lots of his and hers fun outdoor toys like kayaks, bicycles, camping equipment, boat floats, etc. but no one special to enjoy them with. I like to relax and cook dinner together on weeknights. On weekends, lets get out of the house and enjoy life.
I used to think astrology was total BS. Now I only think it’s half BS. Recently, thanks to FB's birthday reminder feature, I noticed most of my favorite ex’s had birthdays in either November or April. I got interested so I read up on astrology and as it turns out, Pisces is super compatible with Scorpio (Oct/Nov) and Aries (Mar/Apr). I don't think I've ever dated a Capricorn or Cancer, but the stars say our signs are great matches too.
Are we a great match? Send me a wink or invite me to meetup for coffee, lunch, happy hour, dinner, etc.
