My friends will tell you that I’m quirky, adventurous, funny and spontaneous, someone who can be sweet on the one hand, with a fine appreciation of well dealt sarcasm on the other. And it’s sad but true – I will laugh at my jokes even nobody else does! I do love a night out on the town, but I sure would like to meet someone who doesn’t feel the need to go out drinking and partying every weekend.
In a partner, I will appreciate sincerity, independence and a sense of responsibility – he’ll definitely be educated, career-oriented and passionate about his work. But he’ll also be spontaneous, with a silly streak that I’ll adore. So yes, while he is patient and hardworking, he has a sense of humor. He is not only unembarrassed by my adoration of the Police Academy movies, he will watch them (again) with me! He can go with the flow and relaxes easily into his surroundings, comfortable with himself and with others.
He’s a glass mostly full person who appreciates the everyday challenges that life presents. Only he doesn’t get frustrated, he sees the value. AND, if, like me, he loves to travel to unusual places, destinations and cultures off the beaten path and devoid of tourists, all the better – because it’s that unique sensibility, that curiosity about the world is what really draws me to a person.
